Why me?
I’m a highly skilled content strategist with over 25 years of professional experience. In fact, I was one of the first people in the U.S. to have the job title of Content Strategist (at Clement Mok’s agency Studio Archetype, in 1998).
Most of my work experience has been with Fortune 50 companies, so I understand how to guide content projects through large corporations with multiple business owners and regulatory oversight.
I’ve led content teams for JPMorgan Chase, Washington Mutual Bank, and Kozmo.com. At Chase, my duties included management of the chase.com content staff and evangelizing content strategy as an important discipline within user experience. I’ve also worked at both Bank of America and Wells Fargo as a senior-level content strategist.
At Optum (part of United Healthcare) I was the sole content strategist, and learned about the specific challenges of creating software to support the healthcare industry.
I enjoy working closely with peers in UX (plus Marketing and Dev folks, of course) as part of a cross-functional team on complex web and mobile projects.
I take pride in meeting deadlines, exceeding customer expectations, and enjoying my work relationships.
